Match Report:
We were again desperately short of players for various reasons, going into a game against a solid Woopi side. Only 18 players for 2 teams made things very difficult with several Premier League players having to fill in and back up for another game. Several of our key defenders were out and a number of players were forced to play out of position. We were under pressure from the start, struggling to contain a couple of Woopi's strong players out wide. Although we fought hard we could not control enough possession and some good long range shooting from Woopi saw us down 2-0 at half time The 2nd half was an improvement and while we created plenty of chances we could not finish them off, going down 4-1. Although we lost this one, there is plenty there to say we will be very competitive once we get all players back on deck. Strong efforts from Avalon & Alison in the backs, and Finchy also added a great deal in attack out wide.
