Mens Reserve Grade - Round 13 vs Woolgoolga Wolves

A very well executed game of football on Sunday 7th July at Korora. Northern Storm Vs Woolgoolga. Ground conditions were perfect a slight southerly breeze made conditions a bit cool for the spectators but perfect for the players. The game was played fast and hard. Defence from the Storm was great. Dictor Dangrin for the Storm was our man of the match playing on the left back he just played hid heart out. Well done Dictor. Only three goals were scored in the match. The first by Scott Wighton from Woolgoolga in the 31st minute of the first half.

Not to be beaten the Storm bounced back scoring in the 16th minute of the second half by coach player Kieren Clerke. And boy did he let all the boys know he scored. A great example of lead by example. The second goal scored by Joseph Mayack in the 25th minute of the second half that put Storm in front by a goal. Woolgoolga fought back hard trying to even up the score but the Storms defence was just too good.

Full time score Northern Storm 2 Woolgoolga 1. To all the storm players enjoy the next weekend off and don’t forget we play Urunga next.
