Mens 1st Division - Round 13 vs Woolgoolga Wolves

Three very frustrating games in a row. This report sounds like a repeat of the last.
Storm again squandered so many opportunities throughout this match.

In the first half we had 7 opportunities to score and in the second half we had 11.

The lads again hit the post twice. Even the Woopi coach couldn't believe how lucky they were not to have lost by a large margin. Congrats to the Woopi goalkeeper whose positional play was first class.

Our defence was first class which nullified the Woopi attack time and again.

Our attacking play was brilliant but our finish just let us down. What can be taken as a positive from the last couple of matches is that we are creating lots of goal scoring opportunities. When we do crack a couple in the back of the net the coaching staff believe that we will be unstoppable.

Northern Storm 0 Woolgoolga 0

Man of the Match was the birthday boy, Matt McAtear, who not only celebrated his 18th but who also put in an outstanding performance.
