The second round of the season saw the Storm Hurricanes take on the
Coffs Coast Cougars at York Street. It was a bit of a one sided affair
with the Hurricanes dominating from the start to score plenty of goals.
All players were involved heavily and most scored more than one goal.
It was also very pleasing for the Coach and his support staff to see the
team work well together and to put into place the skills they have
learned at training. They gave each other plenty of space and their
passing was fantastic.
A special pat on the back goes to Breah and Jaz
who have never played the game before and are making some real
progress. Some of the boys need to watch out as the girls are getting
right in there amongst it. Coach Scott said he was very pleased with
the effort and is looking for the team to continue to develop.
The next
game is round three where we take on the Orara Valley.
