A lovely day for football today at Korora with old
rivals Northern Storm and Coffs United facing off. Both teams were pumped up
for this game and in the first half it was an even contest however Coffs scored
the first goal in the 16th minute. But the Storm was determined not
to let them in again be for half time.
When the second half started the Storm lost a lot
of their structure and in the 14th minute Coffs scored again.
Northern Storms passes could not find the man and Coffs United capitalised and
scored again in the 24th minute of the second half. The Storm were
now playing for pride and kept Coffs United from scoring again. Full time score
3-0 to Coffs United.
For the Storm we will regroup and be up for the challenge
next time we meet. Our man of the match today was Enoch Marc for a nonstop
performance. Well done Enoch. I would also like to thank Mitch Weeden for
helping out over the past few weeks with training and at the games. Thanks
Mitch you’re a Stormer through and through.
