U/9 HURRICANES ROUND 12 –V- THE
BLIZZARDS.
We were not let down
once again with the clash of the big guns from the U/9’s. The Hurricanes
started well and took control of the game with some great open play.
There were heaps of one-twos and long passing by the Hurricanes which dominated
the game. That didn’t last long as the Blizzards fought back and the
competitiveness was very evident between both teams. In the end the
Blizzards came out a little in front but boy was it a great game. Once
again the team played hard but respected each other and their friendships.
A special mention this
week goes to Knox for a brilliant goal keeping display and to his sister Jazz
for a great overall effort. The kids also commented that it was
good to have the regular oranges back after a couple of weeks without
them..........!
Coach Scott was pleased
with the way both teams played and didn’t see too much wrong anywhere in the
performance.
