Woolgoolga Saturday 14/6/2014
It was a
goal scoring feast for the Northern Storm this weekend at Woolgoolga with three
goals scored in the first half. The first came in the 2nd minute
with an own goal from Woolgoolga this seemed to set the standard for them today
with some poor football. The Storm was all over them in every aspect of the
game. The second goal came in the 12th minute by Gum Mayak and the 3rd
from Enoch Marc in the 16th minute. A well executed half by the
Storm and some classy foot ball against a team who were not up to the challenge
today.
The second
half was much the same with the Storm playing some really good football. Paul
Malith scored 2 goals the first in the 4th minute and the second in
the34th minute of the second half. Well done Paul. Woolgoolga did not go home
scoreless due to an own goal from the Storm late in the second half. The full
time score 5 goals to 1 Northern Storm the winners. A huge thank you to a young
lad who helped us out to day Kai Onley he gets our man of the match this week
along with Dictor Dangrin. Young Kai did everything asked of him today coming
up from under 17 s to play with us and he mixed it with the best of them.
Dictor played his usual defensive game he just doesn’t give up well done lads
both deserving man of the match winners.
