Northern Storm Vs Orara at Korora. Reserve grade what a great game of footy by the Northern Storm on a Sunday against Orara. The Storm’s positional play and passing off the ball was terrific. There were 3 goals scored in the first half. The first by Paul Malith in the 10th minute, Salvador Wamara in the 11th minute and Cameron Jones in the 39th minute. Orara could not stop the Storm onslaught. The players come off at half time knowing they just produced their best half of the season.
In the second half the intensity dropped slightly and only one goal was scored in the second half by one of our man of the match lads Noah Bedford with a great run and strike in the 13th minute. The other man of the match was Dictor Dangrin who played such a good game in the backs. Our defence was hungry, they didn’t want orara to score and the job was done.
Full time score Northern Storm 4 Orara 0. It was such a treat to see the Storm play as a team should. All the goals scored at least had 3 players involved, 4 great team goals. Well done to the Storm for a great game.
Bad luck to orara they didn’t play bad, just got hit by the Storm on their best day of the season. Thanks for the game Orara and well done Northern Storm.
