Northern Storm Vs Urunga Raiders Men’s Reserve Grade
The cabbage patch lived up to its reputation as being a hard ground for away teams to win on. Urunga out classed the Storm on Sunday beating them 4-1.
The Storm didn’t seem to be playing as a team and it showed it in the score line. Full credit to Urunga there positional play was far better and there set plays in the box worked very well for them. Full credit to our guys for not giving up, they kept their heads up all game.
Salvador Wamara was our man of the match. Our only goal today was scored by Cameron Jones 16 minutes into the first half from a shot at goal by Salvador which the keeper dropped then put away by Cameron with some good pressure on the keeper.
We will take a lot out of the game, our boys didn’t like to loose and come training night they will all put in a big effort to get themselves back on track.
