HomeStorm tames Wolves in windy conditions.
Both teams struggled with the windy conditions from the start, but at the 16th minute mark, Riley Dillon scored Storm’s first goal, brilliantly fed by Jamie Kennedy. Wolves' goalkeeper was kept busy with constant attacks by Richard Yarnton and Mykel Watson.
After halftime, Storm fired up with Yarnton driving the ball hard down the wing and penetrating Wolves' defence with a fine goal. Not long after, Brendon Myers sent a bullet into the back of the net.
Unsettled conditions contributed to scrappy play at times but Storm proved they could control more of the ball and apply pressure on the Wolves to win 3-0. Storm players will have to continue that pressure to ensure good results leading into the finals.
