Maps

The two main facilities used by Northern Storm Football Club are the York Street (Coffs Harbour) and Plantain Road (Korora) playing fields.

'The Cove' - Korora

Our traditional ground 'The Cove' is located at Plantain Road, Korora, and this is shared with Kororo Primary School (the school uses the field for some sporting events such as athletics carnivals). The field is primarily used for senior matches now, but is also used to host the club’s Academy Development Squad programs, grading days and registration days. It was also used for the 2008 Club Presentation Day. The field can be located on Google Maps on the North Coast Football website.

York Street Playing Fields - Coffs Harbour

Since changing our name to Northern Storm, we have adopted a new playing strip and relocated our main sporting facility to York Street, Coffs Harbour. The ground is in a convenient central location in close proximity to Park Beach Plaza, and is also used for cricket, touch football, baseball and athletics. The ground contains 6 separate fields, making it the largest facility in the North Coast Football Zone. In 2003/04, the complex underwent significant developments allowing for vast improvements in drainage.

The fields in the complex are indicated by the abbreviations Y1E (for the eastern field), Y1M (for the main field, in front of the canteen), Y1S (for the southern field), Y1W (for the western field) and Y6 (for the northern field) on the North Coast Football website. In 2008, the field played host to the annual Ulysses Club gathering, and the club held an on-site breakfast for all of the attending members.

Jetty Oval - Coffs Harbour

Jetty Oval was previously used by the club for Roo Ball/Small Sided Games matches, but this is now used primarily by Coffs Harbour Swans AFL Club.
